This blog is intended as a bulletin board to show the quilts I've been making on my vintage and treadle sewing machines. My husband and I collect antique and vintage sewing machines and I use them to make all my quilts. Here are some of the results.

A new grandson!
This morning at 4:11 a.m. a new grandson was born in our family :-). His name is Jack William and he weighed in at 10 lbs. 4 oz! That makes 13 grandchildren - 6 boys and 7 girls. Fortunately the giraffe building was finished on time and all I had to do was fill in the label. Love this pattern from Lorna McMahon of Sew Fresh Quilts.
Aren't these the cutest little giraffe's?
The backing that inspired the colours for the giraffes
Congrats!!!!!! Our daughter in law went in this morning to be induced, but, nothing much is happening yet. Maybe tomorrow (we hope). Love the giraffe quilt. Congrats again!
Congratulations Grandma! Your giraffes are completely adorable. Love that you made them to coordinate with the backing. Have fun hugging the new grand!
